Like A Storm News Posted: Thu Jun 4, 2009 6:49 pm Los Angeles, CA – May 7, 2008 – The latest addition to their powerful management company – Like A Storm – recently signed a new model deal with Prospect Park (Jane’s Addiction, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, and Flyleaf). Like A Storm, who hail from Auckland, NZ is an alternative, hard rock band formed by brothers Chris, Matt, and Kent Brooks. In 2005 they moved to Vancouver, Canada to take their sound to the world. With melodic, riff-driven songs and an energetic live show, L.A.S quickly made a name for them selves, selling out clubs and creating a buzz in the Vancouver scene. With new drummer Thomas Karanasos added to the line-up, they will be touring the US this summer. Their debut album “The End of the Beginning” is due out this fall, and their first single “Chemical Infatuation” hits radio early this summer. THE END OF THE BEGINNING was produced by L.A-based multi-platinum producer/engineer/mixer Mike Plotnikoff (Buckcherry (prod), Three Days Grace (eng), My Chemical Romance (eng) and Producer/composer/virtuoso Igor Khoroshev (Yes). |

Fluid Rock It At #1 On Rock FM Posted: Wed May 28, 2003 9:56 am After a mere two weeks of radio airplay and a steady rise through the ranks of the Greenman's nightly countdown show, 'The Big Five At Nine', Fluid's song 'Dirty Industry' made history by making Fluid the first ever unsigned act to reach #1. 'The Big Five At Nine' is judged by public voting, and Fluid were amazed at the range and dedication of their fans to get them so far. Fluid would like to thank everyone that took the time to vote for 'Dirty Industry' and helped them to make NZ rock history. |
