Bio

Straight out of Wellington, Anime are quickly making a name for themselves, with great tunes and a rocking stage act and energy unlike any other. Anime have appeared at numerous gigs around Wellington playing alongside bands such as 1QA and Autozamm.

Though they are all 6th form Scots College students with some Rockquest fame, don't label them as a "School boy band". People who have walked into an Anime gig have gone in with the impression that they are an 'ordinary' school boy band, and have walked out, wondering what hit them.

With idol bands such as Glassjaw, Pacifier, The Datsuns, Incubus, Flinch, Deftones, Bolbox Rex and 1QA, Anime play a brand of Heavy Rock that is like none other... not quite garage, not quite metal, not quite punk, it’s all there, in its glory, eating at you like Pac man. You gotta have more!
