This Found Favour have a uniqueness about them that is undeniable as they offer something refreshing to the ears. An alternative hard rock sound with elements of punk and screamo which certainly doesn't lack creativity. With their memorable tunes, powerful harmonies, gut-renching screams and clever riffs which are catchy yet technical, you cant help being drawn into their music. Songs that are infectious and full of emotion.

This Found Favour have been some time in the making but the wait has certainly been worth it. They strive for excellence by constantly perfecting their sound and pushing the standard of their song-writing higher, satisfying their growing fan base. Originally called slingshot, they formed in late 2002 and have developed what is now a variety of original songs, each one with its own distinct sound and feeling.

The element that adds to this bands captivating sound can be attributed to the different musical influences each member brings to the table. Ranging from old-school rock, through to emo and hardcore, this combination creates a sound that can be appreciated and enjoyed by a variety of listeners. The thought-provoking lyics provide a depth and a meaning which much of todays music lacks.

This Found Favour are constantly gigging around Auckland's live music venues and/or anywhere their music will be enjoyed. Just by watching them perform you cant help but
appreciate the passion and energy they put into every gig, every riff and every song you hear them play. As they constantly push forth fresh new songs, they continue to mature as a band. With more and more gigs lining up, This Found Favour are looking forward to what the future holds and hope to release an Ep by the end of this year.
