Bio

The Chaperones is a Christchurch four peice. Formed in the summer of 05 we have just started playing locally. After entering Rapid Storm along with around 35 other local bands The Chaperones were thrilled to fluke 3rd place ahead of such legends as Strange Brew and We Have All Been Wandering Troubadours. Its hard to say what style the band plays as all the members have a varying and eclectic taste, and we are still writing alot of original material. Its safe to say however that we play a fairly wide variety of rock, from funk to ska to punk to weirdness and talking robot sounds. Sam and Myren met and formed the band with Lucan, who we converted from violin, "whooo". Ryan has known Sam for years and is the band's powerhouse chick magnet drummer.
