Steve Cook

Bio

After spending more than 10 years in Europe, staring in London as the lead character in musicals like the New York Broadway musical 'Hair and Thommy', Steve Cook (originally from New Zealand) recorded with Rolf Harris, performed live at the Empire in Leicester Square/London and wrote a theme song (which charted) for Europe’s most famous 5 star palace “the Brenner’s Park”. He also performed for the Prince of Wales and his sons and gained success in Germany with his album and song 'Live For The Moment'.

Back in Auckland now, he is recording his next CD. His European commissioned limited edition CD 'Songs From The Last Century' should be in stores now.

National radio has picked up on his music and Steve has received extensive coverage on the homegrown show for the past five weeks. Other radio stations throughout the country are following suit and are playing his songs, some on rotation. Steve recently performed live on TV1 and gave an interview.

The video to the song 'Live For The Moment' (which has been filmed in NZ) is playing now on the popular chart shows Juice TV, Channel 4 “Most Wanted”.
