Alternative, folk-infused guitar soundscapes and electro synth rhythm sampler and looping provide the base as Olly Knox transports the listener to a peaceful, reflective, faraway place as he creates an airy, meditative atmosphere during his performances.

With a strong nature connection the songs written by Olly Knox are based on existential experiences and the journey through life. Incorporating a rhythm sampler, loop station, and synthesisers he constructs a full, enveloping sound that moves people on a deep level and connects through shared values.

As one listener in Germany says “it’s like floating on gentle waves while the sun is sparkling on the water.”

Based on Northland's west coast he has performed regularly throughout NZ, Europe, Canada, and Australia sharing the stage alongside artists such as Matiu Te Huki, Murray Kyle, Sunny Ray, Bob Hillary and Karen Hunter.
