Music from the heart, songs from the bedroom... therapy for the masses...
Hannah used to be a photographer and publicist for bands around New Zealand, and is now a musician herself. Producing acoustic pop, with a mix of melodic vocals.
Hannah is currently based in Edinburgh, Scotland, having moved from New Zealand in September of 2003.
A fan of collaboration and other musical styles, Hannah explores new sounds with local musicians Ross Galloway, Stuart Clark, and Dave MacGruer, and is part of the Edinburgh Sound Collective.
Hannah released the acoustic album 'Out of the Ten' in 2003, and this Limited Edition CD of melodic acoustic pop is now nearly sold out. She released a live recorded EP 'The Eve Sessions I' in March in order to share her newer songs, and to have something to sell at gigs.
Hannah plays weekly at open mic nights around Edinburgh, and has regular gigs at The Star Bar and Nicol Edwards. Her fan base is growing, and she has been nominated for the 2004 Acoustic Idols competition.
Hannah's track 'Surface' appears on the compilation CD 'Open House : The Best of Out Of The Bedroom'.
Never content to sit on one style, Hannah experiments with injections of jazz, and percussion driven tunes... but always relying heavily on her major asset - her voice.
"What a stunning voice....really unique and hits you between the eyes" - Eddie Raynor (Split Enz).
