Misled By Lies was formed in April 1999 in Hamilton, with members from other bands Vendetta, Ulcerate, Rock.Paper.Meatcleaver and Hate Theorem. Since forming they have recorded a couple of times, been through some line-up changes and played selected shows.

Misled By Lies was a 5 piece with their evolving sound described as "beauty and chaos". Raw and powerful brutality is often the musical focus while lyricly being a catharsis of emotions. They have appeared on the 105 Records (New York label) 'I See Dead People' compilation.

Misled By Lies disbanded during August 2002.
