Blind Kid Seeks is a side project band consisting of all five members of Hawkes Bay's Drunk Uncle, but with members taking on new instrumental roles and a whole new style of music.

Whilst Drunk Uncle are more pop-punk in sound, Blind Kid Seeks play an emo/hardcore brand of music along the lines of Thrice, Strung Out, Poison The Well, Matchbook Romance and fellow NZers This Night Creeps.

Presently, the band are immersed in the process of writing tunes, but are planning to play live as much as possible, once they are ready to emerge from the practice room with a sound they feel is "truly unique".
