Bio

Kick73 is a Punk rock band based out of Taranaki New Zealand, they began as a project between bass guitarist Jono Gous and drummer Ezra Cornish as a way to enter Smoke-free Rockquest 2020, originally the band was set to be a four piece band including acoustic guitar however after a short period of time, they were joined by Jethro Shearer who would go on to play Electric guitar and do lead vocals for the band, writing their first song Long Wild Ride which would go on to be performed live at every show.

The band has played a small number of shows support acts like Holloway Holiday and playing with Rhythm Vision and is mostly noted for their dark humor and joking stage personas. The first performance of the band was their Smokefree Rockquest entrance which was the songs Lenarious and Long Wild Ride, followed up by additional gigs soon after.

The music of the band can be best described as Light and fast punk with hints of Metal and Alternative Rock. Currently the band is in production of a EP titled The Real Kicker
which is listed to have six songs.
