B-Side Electro Funk Disaster

Bio

The B-Side Electro Funk Disaster are a 3-piece band from Palmerston North, forming in 2005. Guitarist and drummer, Josh Burgess and Lewis Rice, respectively, began together as The Violent Pacifists in 2003 and The Snuz in 2004. 2005 saw the addition of bassist, Adam Gibson, at which they became the much loved 'B-Side Electro Funk Disaster'.

Inspired by artists such as The Pixies, The Strokes and Jimi Hendrix, B-Side's sharp yet grooving bass lines and pumping drum beats add to the half-rhythm and lead guitar in the style of late 60's blues jammers - Eric Clapton and Muddy Waters.

The B-Side Electro Funk Disaster are based on the sound of todays indie rock bands that are slowly dominating the charts of mainstream music developing their sound into a unique balance of jazz, rock and fusion.
