Bio

Groove Generation are a Funk/Soul Collective from Wellington, New Zealand.

Groove Generation recently received success as Winners of the Wellington Final of the Smokefreerockquest music competition. Opening for bands such as Autozamm, and playing their own original material, Groove Generation are generating a strong base of fans from all around New Zealand.

With a sound similar to a mix of Sly and the Family Stone, The New Power Generation and Jamiroquai, Groove Generation is a band with a versatile, exciting new sound.
