Bush Telegraph are a Kiwi Bush/Country Band specialising in Kiwi, Australian and Celtic music for concerts, festivals, tourist promotions and bush/barn dances.
New Zealand & Australia's musical heritage is alive and well in the hands of Bush Telegraph, a 4 or 5 piece group whose wealth of performing experience and instrumental ability regularly thrills and delights local and international audiences with their brand of Kiwi music.
Bush Telegraph have a strong commitment to Kiwi music and bring a fresh approach to local music, blending subtle Celtic and Country influences with an appealing Folk style, performing innovative and exciting arrangements of original and well known songs and dances.
The band has been widely praised and complimented for its approach and presentation in reviving and preserving the social atmosphere and music of the early 'Bush & Woolshed Hoolies' which were so popular with our original Settlers and Pioneers.
Bush Telegraph have appeared at numerous venues throughout Australia and New Zealand - from Wine & Food Festivals to International Trade Conventions - from Country Hoedowns to Major Tourist Promotions and from School Presentations to Weddings. They have a programme tailored to suit every occasion and so great their popularity, that many bookings are repeated on a regular basis.
Phil Garland is also a solo performer.
