Bio

I started playing the guitar at the age of seven & my main influences were Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, Bob Dylan and Kris Kristofferson. I started writing my own songs at the age of thirteen, writing songs was what I enjoyed as well as making melodies, the high tones I played on the guitar enabled me to develop my finger picking style.

My banjo playing, which started when I was thirteen, also was very much influenced by Earl Scruggs, old time banjo & folk music style.

I have always had a great love for acoustic instruments and believed that it was the real mark of a real musician.

I have fond memories of running home at lunchtime from primary school to practice the guitar & running back, I have always had a strong passion for music and believe it is a great way of expressing yourself & life journeys by writing them into the lyrics.

Having always enjoyed the great outdoors,nature has played a big part of my inspiration. Being able to master the 12 string  guitar has been very rewarding.
