Otago's top traditional act, Marannan is a spirited and talented group playing music from Scotland and Ireland. Composed of three New Zealanders and two Scots, Marannan blends fine singing with inspired tune playing to provide a sound that is authentic and captivating.

Since forming in January 2000, Marannan has developed a unique and characteristic sound, released one album, and toured extensively in the South Island.
