Romiin

Bio

Romiin is a Filipino born, New Zealand based singer/songwriter ready to serve new vibes in today’s fast evolving music landscape. An R&B crooner, he offers a variety of fresh melodies on modern R&B arrangements that naturally echoes the sounds of artists like Mac Ayres, RINI and Arin Ray.

Early mentorship and co-sign from NZ music greats David Atai (Nesian Mystik) and Marcus Powell (Blindspott/City of Souls) solidified Romiin’s pursuit in a music career – starting out in his early teens as a solo acoustic act, becoming the clean vocalist for Auckland Hardcore Band New Beginnings, to finally realising himself as an R&B artist.

His debut single Back For It released in 2021 received high praise - being featured on MTV Upload (Australia) and sniffers.co.nz to name a few. It has accumulated over 20k+ streams across all streaming platforms so far.

The follow up single Higher released in 2022 became internationally acclaimed - receiving rave reviews from Kayvan Daragheh (A&R, Genius.com) and a glowing article from Tallie Spencer's (Billboard, Good Morning America) Remixed Magazine.

His experiences and constant innovations continue to refine and shape the sounds he delivers.
