Bio

Emma Kate is a 20-year-old singer songwriter from Wellington, New Zealand. Emma Kate spends her time songwriting, singing, playing guitar and producing her music all in her bedroom. She has only recently started producing and putting out her music, however she has been songwriting since she was 8, and she taught herself the guitar when she was 10. She has done singing throughout her whole life, even participating in barbershop and classical choirs while in high school.

Emma Kate's music and vibe is influenced mainly by country & pop music, however she also has a bit of a folky undertone too. Her music inspiration comes from multiple different artists, as she has a broad music taste and likes to express that in her music.

Emma Kate is working towards playing her own gigs, however has started doing background music in restaurants, pubs and for events in the Wellington area.
