Surrey Boudit’ (sah – ree, bow – dit) are a group of musicians from and around the Auckland central suburb of Grey Lynn (affectionately known as, Surrey) who share a passion for the ‘Mojo heavy’ sounds of the 50s, 60s and 70s. Delivering a fresh take on Blues, RnB, Soul, Jamaican Ska, Rocksteady and Reggae classics with a twist of local SWAG!

These cats pride themselves on getting bums off chairs and onto dance floors around some of Aucklands hippest joints, staking their claim as “purveyors of authentic GET DOWN music that’ll have even the most reluctant of punters shaking a tail feather in no time at all, even ya grandma”

Their mantra is, in the immortal words of the late, great, Louis Jordan –

“Let the good times roll”
