Bio

Nemisis is a 5-piece hard rock/metal band from Auckland’s North Shore, with all members attending Rangitoto College. The band is highly influenced by major bands such as; Metallica, Megadeth, Dream Theatre, The Darkness, Slipknot, Guns n Roses, Muse and NZ’s own, The Datsuns.

Nemisis is also influenced by musicians such as; John Petrucci, Steve Vai, Jimi Hendix, Justin Hawkins, Joey Jordison, Cliff Burton, Mike Portnoy, James Hetfield & Slash.

The band is said to have an 80’s thrash metal sound to them, and said to sound like an 80’s Megadeth album.

Nemisis disbanded in early 2005.
