Gods of Nothing - The Beers EP Posted: Wed Feb 9, 2005 9:13 am Yes, it's finally here. 8 songs of fun and frivolity, all on one EP by the Gods of Nothing... We know you want to! Known for their crazy stage antics and Mark's excellent renditions of The Darkness like Falsetto notes. The Gods of Nothing Beer EP will have you grinning from ear to ear and singing along. Upbeat and catchy melodies mixed with Alternative and Classic Rock Guitar riffs and a little bit of Punk - the Gods of Nothing have been said to sound like a combination of Jet, The Datsuns, Greenday, The Darkness, Incubus and Hoobastank. If you liked Mark's old band Mailbox Skipole, you'll probably like the Gods of Nothing too. Recorded at the Rock Factory in early 2004, this EP will stay in your rotating CD player for quite some time, I'm sure! The Gods of Nothing are real crowd pleasers. The Songs: 1. 'Beer' - currently receiving airplay on several B-net stations - basically all about the social lubricant, Beer. 2. 'Party Freak' - a punk number similar to Good Charlotte's more popular stuff. 3. 'Living It All' - A thank you song for the fans. 4. 'Heroes' - A tribute to soldiers and freedom fighters. 5. 'Rooftop' - An upbeat number contemplating the future with optimism. 6. 'Aeroplane' - A band favourite - usually their closing number. 7. 'Wake Up' - Don't give up! 8. 'Leaving' - A real life experience song about changing your life and leaving a dead end job. Win this EP! |
