Pru Etcheverry, Executive Director of the LBF says "the diagnosis of leukaemia can have far-reaching consequences for patients and their familes. The LBF provides assistance for people dealing with their illness and treatment, and provides support to getting back to a normal life through individualised patient support programmes, including counselling, educational booklets, support groups and financal support".
