Pash formed in 1993 when Steve Simpson and and Ronny Growler came to Auckland from Christchurch and recruited bass player Clem White. Years of struggle and heartache followed and in 1995 Ronny quit. He rejoined in early '96 and Pash had a great year, with lots of songs on bFM, some great support slots, a signing to Sony and a tour round the country with local legends The Exponents. Much botching and bungling characterised 1997 and the band eventually disintegrated playing a final gig in February 1998. Ronny is now based in London and playing in Serafin. Steve has formed a new band The Unusuals. Clem is also living in London.
