Jac Dillinger is a pseudonym for singer songwriter guitarist Jacques Dehavilland. Jac Dillinger is a musical persona loosely based on 1930's American gangster John Dillinger. To Jacques Dehavilland, John Dillinger represented freedom and nonconformity, inspiring Jacques to express himself honestly about his own life experiences and to call out the issues that go against the status quo.

Taranaki based Singer songwriter and guitarist Jac Dillinger revives an old school sound for the new era. With organic bluesy guitar tones and dynamic vocal range, Jac Dillinger's mission sets out to revitalise honesty in storytelling. Bringing with him youthful raw lyrics about life as a young man and the trials and tribulations of adulthood.

Jac Dillinger’s style takes from a melting pot of musical influences such as Jimi Hendrix, Sly Stone, Bill Withers, Pink Floyd, Queen and Stevie Ray Vaughan to name a few.

Dillinger’s debut album draws inspiration from mixtape culture of the 1980's, where various artists and genres were compiled onto cassette tapes to showcase an individual’s taste in music. Dillinger took this idea and created an album of original material with a range of genres from Blues, Rock, Funk and Soul music.

Dillinger will be releasing his self-titled debut album Jac Dillinger as individual singles from Late July 2022 and will be followed by the album’s full release in December 2022. Dillinger and the band will also be performing at private shows and live shows from late 2022 into 2023.

There is much to look forward to as this young upcoming artist brings a revival of honest storytelling and a call back to a golden era of music.
