The Artist Red AKA Dionne Stanbridge is a musician hailing from Tauranga, New Zealand. With a passion for music since childhood, The Artist Red has been writing songs & playing the drums since the age of 13. She learned to play the guitar at 19.

Drawing inspiration from a range of musical genres, including rock, blues, and folk, The Artist Red has developed a unique sound that sets her apart from other artists in the industry.

The Artist Red's recent debut album release Gemini Woman showcases her emotive and introspective lyrics, explore themes of love, activism, hyperactivity and self-discovery. Her powerful vocals and skilful songwriting ability are a testament to the dedication and effort she has prioritised as a musician.

Gemini Woman was recorded and produced at Soundtree Studios in Tauranga under the masterful guidance and audio engineering skills of Shane Davies. Shane features on all tracks wowing listeners with his multi talented performances on guitar, bass and backing vocals on the album. Gemini Woman also features Steve Laffan (drums), Brooke Stinson (backing vocals) and Nick Ririnui (drums).

The Artist Red has performed at various local venues gaining a loyal fanbase within the Tauranga music scene.

In addition to their musical pursuits, The Artist Red is also known for her involvement in the local community interviewing a variety of other artists through her multi media company The Dionne Show. She has been a guest speaker for several non-profit organizations as she is passionate about supporting causes related to mental health and sustainability. Through their music and activism, The Artist Red hopes to inspire positive change and make a meaningful impact on the world.
