Autozamm has had the opportunity to support outstanding international acts such as the Black Crowes, INXS and Silverchair. Appearances at events such as the Big Day Out, Homegrown and Southern Amp have cemented the band as powerful large-stage festival performers, underpinned by a string of radio and Music TV hits.
Autozamm's third album 5th Degree offers an electrifying escalation of finesse and bravura. Krish Sharma captured the power of the band as they recorded live in the studio, harnessing their captivating live performance energy in a refinement of the new material - the result is a muscle-bound collection of emotionally-charged hits, of lofty peaks and murky depths. Eschewing rampant technology in favour of more classic mantra (a tele and a twin), Sharma and Autozamm created an album with the production aura of the great rock albums of previous decades.
History & Activity:
• TVNZ used their single Breathe as their backing track for all TV promotion.
• Single Breathe was in the Top 10 iTunes Rock charts.
• Single Want It, Need It from their third Album was the fifth most added song to radio in its debut week of release, and #21 on NZ Charts in its first week on Radio!
• Closer to Home was a #1 single on radio. 1 AC airplay, 17 overall airplay, 2 NZ airplay and crossing multi formats into pop and adult airplay. Big song that is becoming a crowd favourite and a bonafide Autozamm anthem
• Killer Shoes single top 5 Rock song, top 20 overall airplay, and top 5 NZ airplay.
• Disco single top 5 Rock, top 40 overall airplay, top 5 NZ airplay.

what happened to autozamm.com?? Posted: Wed Feb 15, 2006 7:27 pm just bought 'as for now' today (great album) and also got the shades of brown EP for free....and I noted today and also a while back (last year sometime) that autozamm.com is no longer there? P.S I think it would be great if they chucked their videos (full quality) onto the CD...they got some mean vids! (day to day, you don't know me, don't worry....) |
