The debut EP release 'Woodgrain' from Auckland pop band Pogo (released via their own label Fishbox Records) was produced by Iain Greenstreet.
Pogo are a four-piece band that enjoy writing recording and performing their own individual brand of fuzzy pop songs. Formed in February in 2000 the current line up was settled on about June of the same year. Radiohead and Bailterspace covers were soon abandoned as the Pogo songlist grew.
Pogo performed at a 95bFM Live-To-Air as part of NZ music week.
Their independantly produced debut single 'Seed' was recorded in November 2000 and found its way onto radio playlists at 95bfm and the Most FM (Taranaki). Pogo have also featured on Home Grown with Liz Barry on National Radio.
