Fractured are a five piece metal band from Auckland, New Zealand.

Known for their intense, high energy performances, Fractured deliver a show which is something to be remembered. Not "just another metal band", Fractured blend the modern aggressive style of metal with the heavy, old-school sense of groove to form a style they call "Death-Groove". This style, along with their dedication and hard work ethic, has allowed them to build a solid fan base amongst local metal enthusiasts. In their first 3 years together, Fractured self recorded and released both a six track promotional EP in 2008 entitled "Bleeding The Horror Inside", and in 2009 their eight track debut album "No Fear Of Consequence" which has received both a good response with their fans and local air-play.

2010 saw Fractured open for international heavyweights Trivium and Whitechapel, followed by a New Zealand tour with New Zealand heavyweights Legacy of Disorder and Tainted.

2011 will see Fractured head back into the studio to record their second album and an extensive tour will follow.
