Lauren Gin is an electronic music producer and songwriter from Tamaki Makaurau, Aotearoa (Auckland, New Zealand). She has become a renowned figure in the electronic music scene, captivating audiences with her blend of heavy Trap and Future Bass. Inspired by producers and DJs such as Skrillex, Flume, and Quix, Lauren Gin is breaking down barriers in a male-dominated industry as a third-generation Chinese-Kiwi woman.

When she’s not on the stage Lauren is dedicated to supporting wahine (women) in music and business, and her hard work has been recognised by Forbes in their 30 under 30 for her contributions to supporting women-led startups with Icehouse Ventures.

Her electrifying performances have earned her a coveted spot at some of the biggest festivals in New Zealand, including Rhythm & Vines, Splore, Bay Dreams, Hidden Valley, and Electric Avenue. Lauren's talent has taken her beyond the shores of New Zealand, with successful performances in LA, Bali, and Portland (Oregon).

As a testament to her growing popularity, Lauren has shared the stage with renowned international acts such as Peking Duk. Additionally, she hosts a monthly radio show on George FM, the biggest electronic radio station in New Zealand.

Lauren's signature sound is a seamless fusion of Trap and Future Bass, resulting in high-energy and dynamic tracks that never fail to get the crowd moving. Her talent for producing captivating music has led to the success of her single Remedy Feat. Janayah, which charted at No.4 on the Official Hot 20 NZ Singles Chart (NZ Music Charts) and received extensive airplay from George FM, ZM, and The Edge.

Lauren kicked off 2023 with the first single off Walk Away and now Flight Feat. Reshma as the lead-ups to her forthcoming EP titled Adrenaline set for release this July.
