Ghost Wave formed in late 2010 and are signed to Arch Hill. In April 2011 they released their debut self-titled EP.

The band have played at Camp A Low Hum and at various venues around Auckland, including car park parties with their buddies Surf City. They have also supported Times New Viking, The Clean and Explosions In The Sky.

2012 saw the release of new Ghost Wave material, including a US release of their EP featuring a new track. A full length album Ages was released in 2013.

In 2016 Ghost Wave returned with their sophomore album Radio Norfolk. Following on from 2013’s Ages the latest album sees the duo explore deeper into their psychedelic sound, while adding a more electronic focus to their sunny warped songs.
