Sixlip Break Up

Christchurch's top hardcore band Sixlip have called it a day. The four-piece made a name for themselves with their aggressive musical styles and also for their generous assistance to other bands in the area and those passing through Christchurch.

As for the details, here's what Greg posted up in the punkas.com forums:

"Sixlip has officially broken up as of last week due to musical issues and differences in the direction of the band (not personal issues - we are all still friends). We most probably won't be playing a final show.

Chucky, Rich, Jim and myself would really like to thank everyone for their support and/or abuse over the last couple of years.

We still have a few self titled EP's for sale for $10, hook me up a PM if you want one, or email [email protected].

Again huge thanks for an amazing couple of years."
