Milly Tabak & The Miltones share Innocence, the second track from the band’s much anticipated Americana record Honest Woman, set for release on 7 August.
"More than ever we need to embrace and walk our own power rather than stay small and helpless," Milly Tabak says. "Innocence is another taste from our sophomore record and I am ready to set her free."
Innocence was recorded at Roundhead Studios, with additional harmonies and percussion recorded at Tabak’s home studio.
"I had the joy of being able to step out my back door into a studio space with my band brother and incredible engineer Tom Broome," Tabak says. "He was able to capture the soulful and brooding voices of Sandy Mill and Michael Reihanna Murray plus also percussion from Kurt Dyer. There's something incredibly touching about having parts of this song recorded on my childhood property."
Honest Woman will be released on vinyl via Border Music and digitally via DRM on 7 August. Listen to Innocence now on streaming services.
