Emma Dilemma is excited to announce the concrete release date of her upcoming debut album, Spit, and the first date of her nationwide tour which are both set for Friday 1st July 2022.
The self-described ‘patron saint of self sabotage’ combines her penchant for viewing life through an absurdist lens with her love for melody and storytelling to create serious music that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
She spent 2021 releasing 6 songs and music videos, which were packaged into an EP titled Side A.
Throughout 2020 and 2021, Emma began building her reputation as a high-energy, dance-inducing rock act with live shows scattered between restrictions alongside Villainy, at the Armageddon Expo, Christchurch’s Go Live! Festivals and private industry showcases. Missing out on performing her unprecedented 2 sets at NZ’s largest music festival, Electric Avenue, this past summer, she is now eager to bring her Spit show to alt-pop-rock lovers around New Zealand.
Playing four intimate venues in Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland and Tauranga (Solo & AA) these will be shows packed full of Emma’s chaotic energy not to be missed.
