After his debut EP Digital Heartbreak was released, 2022 has seen Melbourne’s Indiana Williams has working constantly with some of the most exciting producers in music across Australia & New Zealand.
Indiana & Chris Scott (Art Heist) have developed a fruitful partnership, already resulted in the club-friendly remix of One Sided Love released in April 2022, that gained much attention from dance music curators worldwide.
This latest release is energetic indie-pop cut Uninvited, a song co-written by esteemed songwriter New Haven (Imagine Dragons, Jungleboi, JXN) journeying through the emotions of lust and rejection.
Art Heist is the production alias of Auckland based producer & DJ Chris Scott. Established on an international level for over a decade behind the scenes of various New Zealand pop, rap & electronic acts including performances at Coachella, Rhythm & Vines & Northern Bass; Chris is continuing to develop on his own as a zeitgeist-swallowing, multi-genre renaissance man. As recorded music or a live DJ set, Art Heist leaves few stones unturned crossing genres and bringing together unlikely influences from across pop, rap and electronic music. His production discography includes work for Josie Moon, Sam Cullen & Sweet Mix Kids; remixes for Dillastrate, Foley, Openside, Balu Brigada, Rei & Beachware; and a debut original EP coming in 2022.
Notable with Australia’s inaugural triple j Unearthed, influential playlist curators and the avant garde of fan circles, Indiana Williams is this new decade’s singer and songwriter to watch, with an air of musical creativity and entirely relatable, yet introspective lyricism.
