Sphere of Peace pounds like a ghoulish industrial age machine chugging away at some sinister task, before settling into an atmospheric bridge in which their trademark cult chants evoke rites and rituals.

The release of this single sets the stage for Demons of Noon’s highly anticipated set at the Obey the Riff festival at Brewtown in Upper Hutt on Saturday 29 October and their upcoming support slot for desert legends Stöner (featuring Nick Oliveri and Brant Bjork of Kyuss) at the Tuning Fork in Auckland on Friday 11 November.

Demons of Noon are a cult doom band that tunes low and hits like a sledgehammer to the chest. In the troubled times of late-stage capitalism, their incantatory monkish chants, deep and sludgy riffs, and the ethereal tones of their maidens are the balm that you didn’t know you needed.
