Melbourne based musician producer Oakley Grenell can’t stop & won’t stop releasing heaters before the Summer arrives. Buss Dance featuring King Ru, Lotek and Hlats was created over a 2 year period with varying MC's / vocalists joining and leaving the song. Grenell finalised the stellar 3 in the last few months and also has a lyric video arriving the same day. Central Records has been a big proponent of lyric videos as it helps promote the songs visually and encourages fans to learn the lyrics and lingo throughout the 4 minutes of rapid-fire vocals.
A summery swung party beat is built around a classic lover’s rock ‘skank’ and also features an introduction by long-time collaborator Rayjah45 and live drums from Oakley’s younger brother Redford Grenell.
This past July Grenell released Payroll featuring Stauny Pops & Max Shotta, before that, Flavour featuring Jamaican Grime Hall artist Fyah Roiall.
Buss Dance will feature on the NZ on Air New Tracks compilation, which gets sent to every radio station in NZ. Available on all music services from Friday 21st October 2022.
Keep an ear out for the new 6-track Buss Dance EP arriving Friday 18th November 2022.
