MEDaL to release second album 'Sequela' on Friday November 11

02 November 2022 - 0 Comments

MEDaL is something of an alternative supergroup (or "supertrio", if you prefer).

John Billows has been involved in many alternative/underground acts, both here in New Zealand as well as Australia. These include The Renderers, The Ether and currently Dark Matter, in which he engineers and produces as well as performing bass duties.

David Mulcahy is best known for being a member of 90's Flying Nun bands JPSE and Superette. Since then he has been involved in a variety of group and solo projects such as Mulchzoid and Sexy Animals.

Mark Whyte is a sculptor who likes to hit things and has been the drummer for the band Into The Void for over 40 years (you can check out some highlights from their documentary here). His energy precedes him...

MEDaL are to release their second album Sequela on Friday November 11th.

So far they have released two songs and videos from Sequela, with the third track, UFO Radio, out very soon. Dave Mulcahy has made a great video for UFO Radio. fans of vintage sci-fi movies, you will like it a lot.
