Summer Thieves are set to close out 2022 with the release of new single, Sunshine. Showcasing a different side to the band, the track is an acoustic-based jam, perfectly placed to hit in time for summer.

A slower sound than fans may be used to, Sunshine is what Summer Thieves do best, bringing the summer vibe. Built around gentle layered guitars and purely frontman Jake Barton’s distinctive voice, the track is perfectly named - a slice of Sunshine purpose built to be enjoyed in the warmer months.

Set for release this summer, their new album weaves seamlessly through pop, rock, reggae and funk while staying true to the Summer Thieves sound that has won fans over across their massive summer shows in New Zealand and Australia.

Sunshine arrives just ahead of another busy summer of touring for Summer Thieves, including marquee performances at festivals Rhythm & Vines and Electric Avenue. The band will be performing over 15 festival or headline shows, with a second run of Australian dates to come in April.
