If you're in need of some moody Friday viewing, you could do much worse than treat yourself to the beguiling new video for Still Need Your Love, by Ruby Beesley.

Lovers of vintage cinema will especially enjoy it.

The Loving Arms celebrate their soulful new single with a special show at Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau's Big Fan this Saturday June 3rd, joined by the fabulous Jan Hellriegel.

Taken from The Loving Arms' critically acclaimed debut album Dreaming Over You, Still Need Your Love features a gorgeous vocal from co-lead singer Catherine Townsend, with string accompaniment by the mighty Dave Khan.

Still Need Your Love is a silky-smooth slice of late-night soul sure to woo listeners with a taste for alt-MOR. And deep down, that's something we could all do with sometimes.

The song was written by co-lead vocalist Mark Beesley, who was missing a loved one at the time. “It’s about been separated from someone who is fundamentally a part of you When someone you love has gone, sometimes you see them everywhere.”
