Ōtautahi via Ōtepoti surf rocker, Jam Henderson, is releasing their latest single New Walls on June 23.
New Walls sees the ever-evolving autumnal surf-rock of Jam Henderson take another step forward, with thoughtful lyricism and soaring vocals still forming the core of the track. jam henderson wear their influences on their sleeves, particularly those of the indie-rock scene of the south island of Aotearoa.
Jam released their EP, Braincleaning in 2022, featuring the single Easy Way Out, which garnered over 70k streams and appeared on the SRN charts.
New Walls comes off the back of the band's recent Aotearoa tour which they co-headlined with Dunedin-based L. Hotel - which featured a sold out crowd of over 200 patrons at Dunedin's Dive Bar.
