This Silent Divide announces the forthcoming release of new single Morning on Friday 28 July, an energetic, wall-of-sound song, with big guitars and melodic, sing-along vocals.
Recorded at Wellington’s Surgery Studios and produced by Toby Lloyd, the track was mastered in Germany by Robin Schmidt (Placebo, Arctic Monkeys, Pixes, Royal Blood).
2023 has seen This Silent Divide band gigging regularly including playing the iconic Wellington CubaDupa festival, ahead of the release of single Beautiful Creature in May. Muzic.net.nz reviewer Kev Rowland called Beautiful Creature “A neatly polished single packed with hooks and energy". The track is being played on radio across New Zealand, the US, UK and Germany, and is accompanied by a dark and mysterious music video (YouTube).
This Silent Divide are known for their tight and powerful live sound and the months ahead will see the band play more live shows and continue writing new material ahead of more studio recording later in the year.
