New Zealand’s favourite new pop star Luca George today releases his debut EP You’ll Never Know Me Sober.
Written and recorded in London with George Clew (Lewis Capaldi) and Joseph Wander (1975, Frank Ocean, Disclosure), the EP features Luca's authentic storytelling and unwavering honesty with themes of love, heartbreak, self-discovery, and introspection.
Luca shares his thoughts on the EP, saying, "Creating 'You'll Never Know Me Sober has been a deeply personal and cathartic experience for me. I've poured my heart and soul into these songs, and I hope that they can provide solace and connection to those who listen. My goal with this music is to be as authentic and honest as possible, and I believe that's what sets it apart."
Having already released two tracks from the EP, both which received airplay on major commercial radio stations throughout New Zealand, the latest single Suit Of Blue, features a poignant reflection on Luca's parents' divorce and
is delivered with a raw and genuine emotional depth that is sure to resonate with anyone who has experienced the challenges of a broken family. The accompanying video features Luca as a young child interacting with his family, perfectly complimenting
the heartfelt song.
