Tauranga, New Zealand’s metal maniacs Puppeteer have unleashed their debut album 'Tucked In By Brutality' on the world on 31st March 2010. 'Tucked In By Brutality' is the follow up to their 2009 5 track EP, 'In Control', as well as being the first release to feature shredding lead guitarist Vaughan Pirie & drummer Sam Lincoln. Industry professionals have described the album as “a record built for sharp shaped guitars” and likened the sounds to U.S.A metal band, Machine Head.
Since a humble start in mid 2008, Puppeteer has grown to become a force to be reckoned with within their local scenes.
Being amongst the first bands to be called upon for support and a sound that can only be described as “Thrashing Groove Metal with a splash of Hardcore”, this band is really taking each step perfectly towards reaching greatness.
'Tucked In By Brutality' is Puppeteer’s first release to display the twin songwriting talent of founding members Rob Sadd (vocals, guitar) & Scott McNab (bass) as their lyrics & music delve into the world of abuse, nightmares, apocalypse and insanity. The album itself has a deep story to it that has been described as “a man’s nightmare fueled descent into paranoid psychosis.”
Puppeteer are currently busy preparing a busy tour schedule for 2010 that will see them traveling all over their native country in support of their new album 'Tucked In By Brutality'.
