Brainwave is putting the 04HC scene on the world map!

Drawing influence from US heavy hitters such as Power Trip, No Warning, and Cruel Hand, the Wellington 4-piece combine the ferocity of Thrash Metal with the relentless physicality of Hardcore into their own brand of Crossover.

Watch their new video Mouth of Gold/Burn - Live from The Shed, which features tracks from their most recent release Summer Promo ‘23 live from their practice space in Lower Hutt.

“Every band has their version of The Shed,” said vocalist Rob Thompson.

“It’s the rehearsal space, garage, or bedroom where songs are written and refined before hitting the stage. For this video we wanted to give people a peak behind the curtain of what that place looks like for us.”

Brainwave are hitting the road in May with fellow 04 titans Lucre for the Deadly Alliance Tour. They are joined by special guest Big Ferg L.H. with support from Soul Void, Drop Off Point, Shuv-it, Pressure, Martial Law, Wallflower, and Cease & Desist. Tickets available NOW at UTR.
