Sam Fowles, the emerging psychedelic soul artist from Pōneke, New Zealand, presents a captivating visual journey with the release of his brand-new music video for his groovy debut single Butterfly Baby.

The song the first of a series of singles foreshadowing his debut album, After Dark, set for release later this year. The album is co-produced by Fowles and Barnaby Weir (The Black Seeds, Fly My Pretties).

Directed by Jack Marlin and featuring cinematography by Jack Nielson, the video presents a touching narrative that resonates with the essence of Fowles's songwriting.

Reflecting on the video's inspiration, Fowles explains: “Jack (Marlin) and I were brainstorming ideas when he mentioned the film Before Sunrise. Intrigued, I watched it and dug the concept as a fitting visual representation of my lyrics’ sentiment.”
