Melbourne-based Kiwi musician/producer Oakley Grenell celebrates 22 years of his independent record label with the new single Drop On Em featuring Max Shotta, out Friday, 5th July 2024.

Grenell teams up with longtime collaborator Max Shotta from the dancehall/reggae group The Shottaz to deliver a hard-hitting, bass-infused sound system smasher Drop On Em.

Max's lyrics boast both confidence and braggadociousness while gliding effortlessly over the confronting production and almost 'metal'-sounding synth riff of the main drop. Battling opponents and dropping lyrical bombs on any naysayers, this is the first single off the new OG LP scheduled for release in October 2024, with singles being released each month until then, showcasing the harder dance floor-oriented production skills of Grenell. It harkens back to the 20-year anniversary of his B-net Award-nominated debut LP Uncharted, digitally re-released earlier this year.

Max and Oakley can be seen and heard on their weekly hour of Visual Radio streaming live on Twitch as part of the Friday Night LETOFF, 5-6pm PST.
