Under The Radar's second Live Music Bar episode stars Phoebe Rings, playing their new single Mandarin Tree and deep cut gem January Blues, answering on-the-spot questions from the studio audience, then closing with their 2023 SRN hit tune 아 스 라 이 (Aseurai).

All filmed in our eponymous venue within the beating heart of Tāmaki Makaurau, Live Music Bar is an authentic and innovative nightclub experience bridging the online / IRL divide. Shot by James Milne (Chabs & Milky, Lawrence Arabia) and Sports Team using vintage camera gear, YOU are invited to attend a gig at Live Music Bar — launched in conjunction with UTR’s 20th anniversary celebrations.

Phoebe Rings are the Tāmaki Makaurau dream-pop sonic-spellbinding collective of singer / keyboardist Crystal Choi (Princess Chelsea), bassist Kat Tomacruz (Fazerdaze), guitarist Simeon Kavanagh-Vincent (Lucky Boy, Princess Chelsea) and Alex Freer (A.C. Freazy, Tiny Ruins) on drums. Double headline tour mates with Luke Buda (The Phoenix Foundation) earlier this year, Phoebe Rings’ latest single Mandarin Tree (launched in April) spent two weeks at the coveted number one spot on the 95bFM Top Ten.
