Leon Rouge are a three piece rock and metal band hailing from West Auckland are set to release their debut single Serenity.

With heavy dynamic riffs, melodic breakdowns and punchy vocals this song will take listeners on a journey.

With Cameron on vocals and bass, Adam on guitar and Ben on drums, Leon Rouge have drawn inspiration from bands such as Metallica, Tool and Pantera giving them a hard hitting and dynamic sound that gets people excited and moving. Having been friends for many years they are able to musically communicate with each other naturally creating a passionate musical connection.

The lyrics were written on an adventure throughout the South Island of New Zealand finding Serenity in nature, swimming in icy cold waters with snow covered mountains towering above. Watching the roaring sea in motion from the serene bay, as the lyric goes “the endless expanse of the ocean in motion crashing as the sound of the swell rolls along to the bay” It is about being in touch with the world around you delivered in a hard hitting rock form.
