Live looping artist, Mike Conlon 'One Man Big Sound' is set to release his debut single Energy Man on 21st September 2024 to NZ and beyond. It will be available on most platforms

Energy Man is an upbeat rock song. Short and sharp and to the point. Evoking emotions of aspiration, determination, togetherness, and resilience. Energy Man resonates true to who Mike is as an artist and person. This song should have you feeling revived and ready to take on the world.

Waikato based Conlon was born in Wellington, spent his youth in West Auckland and had a stint in London. Described as having soulful gritty vocals, Mike Conlon is an alternative funk rock musician-singer songwriter with a unique infectious style, influenced by a plethora of genres. Energetic live sets are performed on his live looping rig, called 'The Beast'.

Since going Solo in 2021, Conlon has built a strong following and has had multiple sold out performances, including shows with iconic NZ performers such as Shihad frontman Jon Toogood and Jason Kerrison (OpShop). Mike will also be performing at his 5th sell-out show, the day of release for Energy Man.

Key live shows are purpose driven, with events having raised over $20,000 for a good cause such as his charity of choice Loving Arms.
