Liam Finn Returns With His Most Swaggery Single Yet 'Suspicious'

25 September 2024 - 0 Comments

Liam Finn of Crowded House has released his most swaggery single yet Suspicious. It’s the 5th single from his forthcoming solo project The Hyperverse (due for release in early 2025).

Conceived, written & recorded entirely via live stream, Suspicious is 70’s funk reimagined as indie pop. If Talking Heads went on a wild trip with Parliament / Funkadelic the logical musical result would be Suspicious. It’s got swag, it’s cheeky and it’s great to dance too.

Finn will spend most of 2024 touring playing dual roles of both supporting Crowded House and playing in Crowded House on their world tour of USA, UK, Ireland and Europe. Finn will finish the year playing support for Pearl Jam for their 2 Auckland, New Zealand shows at Mt Smart Stadium.

Finn quotes that “as it turns out a lot of our heroes growing up were real dicks.” “...It's a reflection on the 90’s and early 2000’s a pledge to never stop chasing that muse and striving to be a good human - an epiphany discovered through the clarity of a maniacal stream-of-consciousness adrenaline rush.”
