Left Or Right is a power trio heavily brewed in Invercargill (the town once acknowledged by some old cat from The Rolling Stones as the arsehole of the world). Now based in Dunedin the band is oblivious to any current genre trends, which allows them to push their sound further and further out of the box. Left Or Right performs a chunky mixture of alternative spacey roots, sonic jazz & fuzzy rock/blues. Left Or Right‘s “Nuggety” record is released on 12” Vinyl as well as on C.D, Cassette and digital.

The second artist album from Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder imprint is a deep, deep, dark and uncompromising suite of music. Epic, melancholic and brutal, “NothingElse” is a record which the listener has to be prepared theimmerse themselves in. Mastered by Warp Records’s Clark the rewards make it worth the effort. This is a record whichfeels like it’s been hewn from stone. Albeit electronic stone.A remarkable, transcendent achievement, it’s raw, emotional, angry, beautiful and real.

Melbourne’s A Death in the Family have spent the past six years generating their own momentum, propelled by a fierce DIY spirit and a rare musical bond. A Death In The Family’s songs have showcased a group of gifted songwriters, with a potent blend of contemporary punk and ‘80s Australian rock, equally indebted to Hot Water Music and Husker Du as Midnight Oil and Spy vs Spy. Once formed by Steve E. Nix in 2007, The Cute Lepers made a beeline for the punk and power pop classics in the used record bin. The Cute Lepers create the crisp, catchy punk numbers that you would normally expect from ex-members of The Briefs. They have toured the US, Europe and the UK extensively either solo or on support tours with bands like The Buzzcocks and their sophomore record, “Smart Accessories”, continues with more of the tuneful energy that earned their debut full length the attention of Joan Jett's Blackheart Records, Damaged Goods Records, and 1-2-3-4 Go! Records.
